Job Details

Major Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and portfolio analysis to arrive at pricing recommendations
  • Understand market dynamics, formulate pricing models and test hypothesis to determine pricing options that will achieve win-win outcomes for clients and RightShip
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine the impact of different pricing strategies
  • Design and develop pricing tools, processes that balanace visibility and scalability of data versus controls for price setting and modification
  • Track and measure the efficacy of different pricing models, conduct analysis and fine tune and adjust as required
  • Ensure high level of accuracy of pricing data and ensure dashboards are kept up to date
  • Provide support to stakeholders on how to interpret and derive insights from pricing dashboards
  • Support the Partnerships team to define pricing implementation plans and deliver according to schedule
  • Review pricing strategies across regions, understand priorities and design pricing strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
  • Conduct customer segmentation analysis, support the Commercial team to implement portfolio management strategies to actively manage and support customers' needs
  • Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to identify new or emerging opportunities
  • Actively provide pricing support for new product launches and monitor post launch developments
  • Manage the pricing governance process to ensure alignment and compliance

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or other relevant disciplines
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in pricing related roles. Experience in pricing services/software solutions advantageous. 
  • Analytical, self-initiated and results-driven
  • Strong execution, influencing and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel. Knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI and data visualisation tools advantageous
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Good time management and prioritization skills
  • Experience in maritime industry preferred but not mandatory
